How To Restore Your Home Page

Windows

If you're using the Windows operation system, follow these simple steps to remove SearchPage Tab.

  1. Go to the "Start" menu

  2. Open "Control Panel" and then click on "Programs"

  3. Select "SearchPage Tab" and then click "Add/Remove or Uninstall"

Note: If the steps above didn't work for you, you can also manually remove SearchPage Tab from your browser by scrolling down to the appropriate section.

Internet Explorer

  1. Navigate to the webpage you would like to set as the home page.

  2. Access the Internet Options menu by clicking on "Tools"

  3. Under the "General" tab, find the "Home Page" section.

  4. Select your current page as the new home page by clicking on "Use Current" or type the address of your preferred home page into the box.

  5. Click "Apply" to save your changes

Firefox

  1. Navigate to the page you would like to set as your home page.

  2. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the "Tools" tab, and select "Options".

  3. Under the "General" tab, go to the "Startup" section. Click on "Use Current Page" or type your preferred home page URL into the box.

    This will adjust your search box and home button simultaneously.

  4. Click the "OK" button to close the "Options" window.

Chrome

  1. At the top of your Chrome window, access the Settings menu under "Preferences".

  2. Under the "On startup" section, click on the "Set pages" link.

  3. With the "Startup pages" open, click on "Use Current Page" or type your preferred startup page URL into the box.

  4. Once back on the "Settings" page, click on "Show Home button" under "Appearance".

  5. Select "Use the New Tab page" or type your preferred home page URL into the box.
